Development Editing

 What is Development Editing?

Development Editing or Structural Editing is where we look at the overall picture of what your book is about, and then work on specifics of plot, characterization, pacing, consistency, and flow. We'll also look at world building, especially in a series, to make sure all aspects of your story are seamless from chapter to chapter and from book to book.

We provide constructive feedback on all aspects of your story, so you have full confidence in going forward and reworking your book. However, if you still feel the need for more guidance, we will always be available to help you with the process.

A full development edit costs $0.0075 per word and is required before a copy edit.
