 What is Copy Editing?

This is where we take a look at grammatical syntax, which include repetitive, misplaced modifiers, unclear antecedents, floating body parts, passive voice, dialogue tags... Well, anything that makes your sentences awkward or your action ambiguous.

With your copy edit, we'll offer comments and suggestions on how to fix up any errors but with your author voice in mind, so we're not taking away what makes your work unique to you. We'll also include any outstanding aspects that may remain from your development edit, so your manuscript is crisp and clear and ready for a final proofread pass.

A copy edit costs $0.0055 per word and is recommended after a development edit.
